You don't need to be in Williams Lake
to get in on the action. If you would like to place a bet, contact
Marie-Cat at
[email protected] or one of the runners and they will gladly
take your money.
If you are going to be in Williams Lake, you can
also run the sprint after the showcase and compare your time. Entry to
the sprint is by donation (suggested donation is $10).
How do you compare?
See how you would do internationally or simply relatively compared to
the National Squad Members, using a British table of Handicap Times for
Orienteering The following are speed ratio where M21 = 1.00 (note that
in Canada M21 is M20-34). Example: Mike Waddington runs the course today
in 13 minutes. You are a 50 year-old male. A comparable time for you (on
the same course) would then be: 13 min / 0,79 = 16,45 min or 16 min 27s.
